Online Permitting from the City of Urbana
Apply online, check your permit status, and pay permit fees all from your home, office or mobile device.

Permitting has three steps....
1.
Register
You need to register before you submit your first application - click here to register: REGISTER Now
Once you register, you do not need to register again.
If you work for a business, it's best to only have one registration in order to see all of your permits in one place. If different people register separately from your business, they cannot work on each other's permits.
2.
Apply

Submit your application with all of the information you can provide, including attachments.
Staff will review your application and communicate with you about your permit. Here's a video with more information:
3.Pay
Once your permit is approved, you will receive an email notification and will then be able to pay your fees online.
