When do I need a permit?
A permit is needed when any owner or authorized agent who intends to construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, demolish, or change the occupancy of a building or structure, or to erect, install, enlarge, alter, repair, remove, convert or replace any required impact resistant coverings, electrical, gas, mechanical or plumbing system, the installation of which is regulated by the Florida Building Code, or to cause any such work to be done, shall first make application to the building code administrator and obtain the required permit.

Where do I apply for a permit?
At this time, we do not allow permit applications to be submitted through your portal account.  All permit applicants will need to use our Universal Permit Application.
